What
Readers Are Saying: Joe
& Lee, I
read The Real Heaven and really enjoyed it! I too was one of those folks
who really didn't look forward to Heaven. I mean, I definitely knew that I didn't
want to end up in Hell, and some days I would tell myself that if I were in Heaven
at least I would be free from the physical pain of this life. The picture of Heaven
that had always been painted for me by Sunday school teachers had me feeling like
I was going to be receiving the equivalent of a lobotomy when I got to Heaven.
That picture didn't appeal to me, and at the same time, it didn't really seem
right either. Like you, most of the time I just tried not to think about it.
After reading The
Real Heaven, I am for the first time excited about the possibilities of the
afterlife. I was unfamiliar with most of the perspectives that were shared in
the book; however, after reading through the biblical references for myself, these
new perspectives make so much sense to me. Now, Heaven seems like a place that
I would want to be. Moreover, this new perspective has given me new motivation
to strive for excellence in this life. Thank
you so much for doing all of the research and for writing this book!
